Swimming

The girls have gotten to go swimming in our new neighborhood pool twice. They absolutely love it. I know where we'll be spending a lot of time after we move in!







Things are going pretty well in the camper. We're getting to know the area a bit and have been so incredibly busy that the days are going fast. In addition to the things we've posted about, we have been to 6 Flags and are going to Monkey Joes to "jump" tomorrow. We've also been taking the dogs for long walks every day. The girls also spend a lot of time getting carted around on errands, mom going to dad's office to work, and the Wildwood YMCA since mom's training for a marathon in October. So, not too bad, but it will certainly be nice to spread out a bit again! 9 more days and counting!!

Cousins

The girls got 2 new cousins a couple of weeks ago. Aunt Sarah and Uncle Montez welcomed twin girls, Maya and Macy. We got to visit them in the hospital and last week we babysat big sisters Liah and Cedar while the twins went to the pediatrician. The girls had a great time playing together.

Emilie's Birthday

For Emilie's 7th birthday, she wanted to eat at a Japanese restaurant. So on Friday we went to Kobe of Japan for dinner. She and her sisters had a blast watching the chef cook our dinner and trying to eat with chopsticks. On her actual birthday we went to Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream after dinner. My fellow chocoholics loved that too :-)

Kansas City

Back in June, we took the kids to Kansas City for the weekend with the Trapp family. We had a great time doing all kinds of tourist-y things.

Some of our activities included: We went to Kaleidoscope (which is a kid's interactive art center run by Hallmark). They got to make all kinds of arts and crafts projects.

We also went to the Moon Marble Company where we got to watch them hand make marbles. Of course the kids had to bring home their own too :-)

We had fun at the campground with swimming, bike riding, and campfire activities.
