Read, Right, and Run Marathon

Claire and Emilie took part in their school's chapter of Read Right and Run this year. Every Monday they met after school for 1 book read together, 1 good deed done, and 1 mile run. For 25 weeks. Then today, they met at Forest Park with hundreds of other children to run the last 1.2 miles. This way they completed a marathon (26.2 miles). They got race t shirts, bib numbers, and medals for finishing. It was a really neat experience for them. Here are a few pictures:

Easter

Its been crazy at the Humes house lately. We are getting ready to put our house on the market and move to a new one later this summer. Eric and I have been working like crazy to get our house ready to show- not easy with 4 small children living in it! Anyway, what I mean to say is sorry that I haven't been better about posting new blog entries.

We had a great Easter. The girls loved seeing both sides of their family. They got to do an Easter egg hunt on Sat. And they definitely enjoyed jumping on cousin Liah's new trampoline on Sunday after being very well behaved during church. So without further ado, here are some pictures:
